  • London Session: For the London Session, plenty going at 3 AM EST. We can take into account on the Retail Sales from the UK. The number expected is 0.5 and the unexpcted is suprise factor 0.6 we expect. In such scenario we may expect a weaker GBP/USD. The market is waiting for some positive news. Overall the numbers we can rely is 1.1 to give the GBP a strong boost in the immediate future or the weaker GBP if we get -0.1.   • New York Session: For the New York Session, Some news for the Canadian dollar, but nothing consistent we can rely on. At 2 PM Fed Chairman Bernake testifies at 2 pm in the afternoon, so be cautious about it at 2 PM EST. Strategy #1: Canadian retail sales to be released at 8:30 AM, forecasted at 0.5. the previous number suprised as it was negative as we expected a better number. We are looking for 0.6. As for the USD, Bernake said unemployment is not very good. the market is looking better news from anywhere. Take a look at oil prices as it has influence on the price of USD and CAD.
